Korpack Welcomes the Zünd D3 High Speed Cutter
Korpack is pleased to announce the addition of the Zünd D3 high precision cutter to our QuicKOR program. The CAD table is a huge addition and investment to our current capabilities and services offerings. Dual-Beam Speed and Precision
The Zünd D3 offers two cutting beams that allow us to double the productivity and have pristine quality. Each of the beams can work simultaneously together or independently to minimize time spent on cutting various parts of the design. The beams move at impressive speeds to get the job completed efficiently and accurately. We can produce double the parts in half the time which can save you time and money.
The dual beams can carry up to 3 different modules to increase the workflow and allow for ultra-precision in cutting different contours. The system utilizes state-of-the-art technology and a direct drive that guarantee maximum productivity. The beams can also cut through a variety of different materials including corrugate, paperboard, honeycomb, foam, and more. Single layer cutters, as opposed to multi-layer or traditional die cutting, offer a more reliable material hold-down that allows the CAD table to keep the quality of cut edges consistently high quality.
Prototyping and Small Runs
The efficiencies and quick turnaround of the CAD table make it a great candidate for prototypes and small production runs. We can cut prototypes and have them in hand for review quicker than ever before, speeding up the entire job process. Need something adjusted? We are able to make those on-the-fly changes to your prototype. This allows the approval process to move along conveniently without getting bottle-necked.
Jobs are easily saved within the CAD table and can be consistently reproduced for small production runs. The digital cutting data is transparent which makes the cutting process completely reproducible. With the push of a button your approved prototype can be translated to production runs, keeping them completely identical to the sample.
